It is with a heavy heart that Chapter 137 says goodbye, farewell, and meet you in Heaven, to the heart of our chapter, past commander, Mr. Hal Ammons. Hal was the guiding force for our chapter for many years. Hal is the reason 137 does what we do, the way that we do it. He was a Vietnam Veteran, proudly having served in the 1st Cavalry Division. He was a substitute teacher for Quest Academy, helping to provide structure and discipline to the kids that need it most. Services for Hal will be on January 8th, and internment will be January 13th.
